a member of the supporting listeners program, but whose personal story just seemed interesting

enough to merit an episode.

He started telling us about it in the secret Facebook group that I have for the supporting listeners, and I thought, that's a definite.

We've got to talk about this.

Nathan Dunn was a police officer, will just say, somewhere in California.

And then he started reading Rothbard, and he listened in particular to his speech by Bob Higgs. And increasingly, he came to the

conclusion, I can't do this anymore. I actually have to stop doing this. Because of what I'm seeing,

and because of what I'm required to do, I don't think I can do it anymore. And so he switched career

midstream, basically, as a result of changing his ideas.

That's a rare thing.

A lot of times people encounter new ideas that might threaten their livelihoods, and instinctively, they reject those ideas.

Instead, he embraced them because he couldn't see what the flaw in them was. And now he's doing something or about

to embark on something entirely different. So we'll talk about that with him now. Nathan,
