It's November and it's Tuesday and it's podcast Tuesday, which happens

to be my personal favorite day. So wherever you found yourself at this exact moment, in your car,

in your closet, running on the treadmill during your lunch break, changing diapers and refilling

sippy cups, are just trying to hide from the craziness that is 2020.

Well, my name is Jen Jewel, and I have the privilege of hosting this faith-fueled conversation-style podcast, which unleashes a brand new episode into your earbuds, your

AirPods, your speakers every other Tuesday.

And with me today as my co-host is my sweet friend,

Amy Groschelle. And y'all, if you don't already know, in addition to locking arms with some

incredibly brave women from all over the world, from all over the capital C church. We're also partnered

with the women of our church, life church. And our very simple goal is to leverage

this little thing called technology and this timeless thing called conversation to bring us all

a fresh breath of truth and encouragement. I mean, God knows we could certainly use it. So we say

it all the time, that God is at work in our mess. And that's basically the overarching theme of the entire

Bible and our entire lives. But we still have a part to play, as our guests today will so

beautifully describe, we get to choose our response. We choose whether to focus on the chaos, the

clutter, the heartache, the mess, or on our all-knowing, fully capable, never lacking,

always dependable God. Yes, the same God who is willingly, lovingly, intentionally working

in the details of our lives. It makes me think of Deuteronomy 3019, where God says,

today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and

curses.
