Welcome to the Clubhouse with Shane Bacon. I'm Shane Bacon. It's been a busy, busy few days in the golf world.

And sadly, not going to be a lot of chatter about the Charlie Hoffman win in San Antonio.

I have been kind of traveling across the country.

For some other golf events, I was at the Golf Digest, Think Young, Play Hard, Invitational out in Las Vegas.

Somehow won the event, my partner, Play Hard, Invitational out in Las Vegas, somehow won the event,

my partner, Josh Sullivan of GoPro, great guy, fellow lefty, lefties conquered that event.

But he carried my back for a couple days.

He's probably still a little bit of sore, but a really fun event.

If you never check that out, make sure you go to Golf Digest, look it up.

They have it every year.

This is the second one they've had.

It's in Las Vegas.

A lot of fun, a lot of cool little things they do.

Also, I was at a little place called Oakmont Country Club earlier in the week, getting a chance to play it as we get prepared and get set for the U.S. Open Championship there. Ninth time it's going to be hosted at Oakmont.

Obviously, that's the most ever.

I wasn't totally sure what to expect.

And let me just tell you, after 18 holes around that golf course,

you totally understand why the U.S. Open continues to go back.

The U.S.GA continues to go back.

It is one of the most amazing golf courses I've

ever seen. I've ever played. It's one of the most interesting golf courses I've ever played,

but we're not going to get to that just yet. I've got a few more things we're going to knock
