Are you guys personally big on your kids learning Spanish?

Yeah, my children have to know Spanish.

But I will tell you that I didn't start it, Jorge, my husband did.

Because... Well, let me tell you about why I didn't.

Because in school there was ESL, right?

And ESL, from what I remember it, even if it wasn't told or not it kind of felt like oh those

kids need more help right like the so so growing up you didn't want the people the

school to know you were in English speaking or what is it English at second language yeah second

language even though I learned English first my parents said oh she learned she

learned Spanish I mean excuse me even though I learned Spanish first, my parents said, oh, she learned English first so that I wouldn't be an ESL.

And so coming up with that, I'm like, okay, I don't want to teach my kids Spanish first because of what that kind of made you feel like.

And then only to have to take Spanish in fucking high school and shit.

And I think that they do that.

They like discourage younger kids from knowing Spanish because later they're going to need it as a as a requirement.

You're so right they make it seem like a disability. Yes.

Like that ESL is like oh time to go to ESL and like they just take them out the class and you're like, are they okay? Like what's wrong with them?

Now you know it's crazy. I had that shit in. I had that shit in, I had that shit in, like for almost part of my time time how did that make you feel I mean I I I'm just I didn't give a fuck but it was a separate class

It was like for an hour like yeah, yeah two three times a week right yeah but I remember do teach you English or what
