I'm actually a little embarrassed at how often God provides for me in some obvious or mysterious

way, yet I'm often too busy or too distracted to come back and thank him for it,

or worse, to even see it. Mary Oliver once said, to pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.

And that's really what this episode is all about. We're going to stop and look around. We're going to

pay attention and reflect on God's fingerprints. My guest

today is Ali Weig, a wife, mom of two, fellow blogger real estate agent, and a friend of mine

from college. In fact, we were actually neighbors at one point. And in this episode,

Ali courageously recalls her son's traumatic near-drowning experience in her own roller coaster

journey to recovery.

Let me tell you, when someone's almost said goodbye to their son, they walk out of that hospital

different with a completely new perspective on life.
