L.A. to the I.E. or the United States to Mars. Dude. Mars way. Short a commute. Shorter commute. No, so that's a huge thing. I've never met anyone in NASA. And that's actually a message you're sharing right now I see in your social media is bringing Latinos into STEM. And like that's such an amazing thing because no one in my community that I know of is in STEM or at least like working like in like engineering for like NASA or like
0:57.2	space mechanics. So how's, uh, how did you coming from Ecuador end up in NASA? Bro, um, that's kind of
1:05.6	part part of the narrative that we're trying to change. Right. And I think by by going to social
1:09.7	media and sharing my own story and telling other people at NASA
1:13.4	to share their stories and other friends too
1:16.0	and other companies, we're out here.

1:21.5	We're literally putting things on other planets.
1:24.1	And there's not many of us, right?
1:27.5	And that's kind of the important thing that to be highlighted, I'm going to get serious

1:35.6	Right now, right now, the country, the United States has about 20% Hispanic.
1:41.2	So the Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans.
1:44.1	Only 20%? We're only 20% right now. That's changing pretty quickly. But we are just 20 percent of the country as of like maybe last year, if that's where the data's from. In STEM, in STEM fields and careers, engineering, coding, whatever, we're about 8% of the representation when it comes to Hispanics.
