Today on the One Inquirer podcast, Jay Lehman joins us.

Yes, it's a day late, but at basketball, had some parent-teacher conferences with the kids.

So we delayed it by a day, and I thought that was a good way of doing it, because I know

basketball was the focus on Monday.

Then we kind of reconnect with Jay and talk about the Minnesota loss and talk about the final

three games.

And as always, Jay is fantastic about what he thinks the offensive staff needs to do, the defensive

staff needs to do, the defensive staff

needs to do to make sure that this team takes advantage of that six and one start that has

turned into a six and three start after back-to-back losses against a favorable schedule.

But Illinois is limping a little bit into the final three games and into this off week.

What does the staff need to do?

I thought Jay had a great breakdown of that. Before we get to Jay, I do want to talk about some recruiting

news for Illinois football as they've had two commits over the last couple days, had two official

visitors on campus, two group of five commits that they had flipped. So let's talk about Jay J.J. Hurdus, the three-star offensive lineman out of Michigan.

This guy was really intriguing to me because Illinois had two offensive line commits

in this class before him.

Tinley Park, Andrew Guard, slash Senator Michael McDonough, and three-star Stouton,

in Wisconsin,le slash guard.

I think he might end up at Gar, Griffin-Rousseau.

But they needed another tackle prospect.
