Hello, my name is Andy Greenwald. This is my podcast. Today's episode is a great one.

0:20.9

I got the chance to speak with a legendary Hollywood producer, the CEO of Valhalla Entertainment

0:26.0

Gail Ann Heard. She came in today to talk about her new project, which is a USA series called

0:31.9

Falling Water. The show premiered last week on Thursday nights at 10 PM Eastern. You can

0:36.2

catch the second episode tomorrow at 10 PM Eastern on the USA Network. It is a very stylized,

0:42.3

very trippy story about three people who maybe can share the same dream. It's a beautiful

0:48.1

show. It is a very dense show. It's a very intense show. I was excited to talk to Gail about

0:51.8

that, but I was also very excited to talk to her about the length and breadth of her

Gail has turned her talents to television. She produces a little show called The Walking Dead,

1:21.8

which is doing okay. We talked a little bit about that. Generally about her life in Hollywood,

1:27.6

and the focus it takes to be not just a super producer, but a producer, as well as the enduring

1:33.1

presence of sexism in the industry. I thought her answer to that question was particularly interesting.

1:38.6

Let's get into it. This is my conversation with Gail and Herd.

1:51.7

Gail and Herd, thank you so much for joining me. I hope you don't mind. I would love to talk

1:55.9

you about Falling Water, which is your latest project. They viewing this week, I believe, on USA.

2:02.0

It is Thursday, October 13th, 10, 9th Central. And we're going to be airing this post that,

2:08.5

but just ahead of the second episode. Okay, good. I think I can take Intune in for the second

2:12.0

episode tomorrow, although I highly recommend watching the first episode first, because it might be
