We are taking apart an article today.

Once in a while, people send me articles and say,

Why don't you smash this one?

And now and then I do that.

Sometimes it'll be an article on a subject that I feel like I've covered so many times.

I just don't want to do it again.

Or sometimes I just don't want to give a certain person an additional audience, but sometimes I do go ahead and do it. And in this case, I've brought

David Gordon onto the show to help me do it. The article is on taxation and theft and why taxation

is not theft, and it's written by a philosophy professor named Philip Goff.

And I wanted to have David come on and wrestle a bit with some of the particular arguments advanced in this particular article.

So I do want to tell you, David Gordon is probably the most knowledgeable person I know.

I don't know why I'm saying probably.
