So we are going to take a larger look at the future of the Bears. Specifically, we're going to talk about players this week.

We've kind of hit the coaches quite a bit. We're going to look at what players are going to be on this team in 2018, key contributors in 2018, and what guys from this 2017 team may or may not

be back next year? Yeah, there's not much point to really talk about the present. I mean, it's...

Do you care about Bengals special teams? You know, strangely, no, the short answer is no. But I actually

have a strangely rooting interest in the Bengals. I was living in southern Ohio when the Bengals were founded.

So I sort of felt like I was, wow, I was president of the creation.

They drafted a center with their first tour.

I sort of, that's been one of those little weird franchise connections that you sort of

kind of follows you around.

Well, let's see how the Bengals are doing. And their games with the Steelers when they had me and Joe Green and all this kind of stuff,

it was kind of fun.

Anyway, but do I care about them now?

Crickets.

Crickets, yeah.

That's basically how this entire week is being approached here at Hallis Hall.

And with good reason, the Bears are 3 and 9 coming off of 15 to 14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

I don't think we really have to

relitigate that game. No, and actually I'm just thinking, how much interest do we have really

in the Bears special teams right now? Well, the Mike Nugent revenge game is coming up on Sunday.
