the Harry Potter series, just a few quick announcements. First, it is donation time here.

the first episode of the month, and we pick a different charity. And at the time of recording,

we have 850 patrons, meaning we'll be giving $850 to every town for

gun safety.

I know that I've donated to a similar charity, one that is actually through every town called

Mom's Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.

This is their parent organization.

They do a lot of different things, especially with gun control legislation.

And given the fact that America just had two terrible gun-related tragedies in a 24-hour span, I think the donating to this charity is incredibly timely because hopefully the money that we give can help kick something into action. I really just hope things can change because it's just getting absurd at this point. A lot of people sent me really great charity suggestions for August, but this one just really hit me hard, especially with one of the shootings being in El Paso, Texas, and I used to live in Texas. So this is the one that I think makes the most sense. If you want to learn more about this charity and what they do, you can head to Everytown.org. On a happier note, I have news about my involvement at Leaky Khan, Dallas. I've got all the details, and they added me to three new things. So on Friday, there will be Potterless Live. On Saturday, I will be part of questions of the Wizarding World, the room of requirement. And on Sunday, I'm doing Leaky Khan Pyramid with the guy who played the Toothless Walnut, Tom the Inkeeper, in the movies. I'm also doing a panel about the portraits and pictures of the Wizarding World. You know how I've asked about how those work in a million episodes of Potterless. And I'm rounding out the convention. The last thing that's happening on the main stage is Potter Castless Live, a hybrid between Potterless and Potter cast, one of the oldest and one of the newest Harry Potter podcasts together. I'm really excited if you are going to be at Leaky Khan.
