basketball media days up in Rosemont, Illinois.

Wednesday, the women's side was in the spotlight.

Shawna Green Company there, represented for the Alina, of course.

And then Thursday, Joey and I both there for the men's basketball media day, Brad

Underwood, Kylan Boswell, Ty Rogers.

We're going to get into all of that. The big takeaways, the storylines, different things that we observed. We're up there. And Joey, we're in the thick of football season. It's been a fun one so far here in Champaign. But, man, basketball is slowly but surely creeping up on us. Yeah, it felt real. We should also say the kids are running this show here because Werner's taking a weekend away. So we're going to try not to screw this thing up too bad. I don't have high hopes. I don't have high hopes for myself, Derek. I think you can save me on this. But yeah, man, it's, it felt real again, right? Like all offseason, the roster building in the spring to like people are starting to trickling in the summer and

there's little buzzes like, hey, Yacoshonas looks really good.

Or, oh, by the way, Will Riley's here now, right?

Like all of those have kind of like been little pieces that you have to dive into in the

moment.

But when you get there and you can kind of see everybody, players, coaches around the big

tens, like, oh, right,

like this is here in a month, practice is underway.

Media days can be a little bit old, right?

I mean, and this is my seventh.

You probably attend at this point now in that neighborhood.

You know what it is.

You kind of know what you're going to get out of it but it does make it

kind of feel like a real real thing that that's on the horizon instead of just these little

nuggets of information of roster building that you've had over the last few months yeah to
