Hey there, folks. I'm Dave Holmes. Welcome to International Waters, the transatlantic panel show that pits American and British comedians against each other in a pop culture battle royale. We are taping this on November 15th, 2016. It's been a week. Everything that is small and hateful and petty and fearful and bad about human nature was rewarded with the highest office in the land.

And literally everybody's best case scenario is that maybe our new president will be too easily distracted to cause the actual apocalypse.

Right.

That's the best case scenario.

Here's hope.

I called my parents just for some comfort, you know, in the days after because, you know,

it was like busy trying to write about it, trying to synthesize and whatever.

And I just felt depleted.

And they could tell in my voice, they're just like, God, you really sound, you really sound like this is getting to you and I was like well you know yeah it's kind of an important thing yeah my mother's actual suggestion maybe don't pay attention yeah maybe don't pay attention

so that's really what I'm going to try to do so the world needs some healing we need a little

Christmas right this very minute so what we're going to do is we're going to make this episode

all about the very best things from our respective countries. We're going to

celebrate the good because 48% of our countries are good. UK,

you can relate. 48% voted against Brexit. Forty-eight percent here voted

for Hillary. So let's focus on the 48% of goodness

in our hearts. This is an all-positive episode.
