And I have to say one of the most interesting things about trend following is how well it does

when this shit is hitting the fan. Now people have called this all kinds of names, one of them being

crisis alpha, event strategies, black swan strategies, et cetera. We now know that trend following is something that if you

don't have in your portfolio to some degree now after March 2020, why? It's a great hedge

at a minimum.

At a maximum, it's a way to make money.

And it's one of these strategies, let's face it.

Wall Street, the financial services, they really don't want to promote it.

Index funds, buy and hold, whatever other strategy they're selling, much easier for the brokers,

much easier for your financial professionals that take your money to keep taking your money from you.

But beyond all that, beyond the partisan views, someone might say that what I just said was partisan.

Back to the main point, it's terribly interesting that trend following does well when something
