Brett Bielma said he felt coming into this game like they could win. And they brought recruits on campus, but kind of pushing their chips and said, oh, we'll win, we'll give a good environment. The fans showed up and they gave the fans a reason to come back. Like this game has happened a number of times where fans left without a reason to come back that season, right? They left left disappointed, and Illinois wasn't pretty, right?
