So for this episode, when we talked to Marty Johnson, this was a really cool episode

because it was right before the pandemic.

Marty was getting ready for his sixth tour divide, which is the 2750-mile

mountain bike race from Banff, Alberta, all the way down to Mexico. It's every summer.

And Marty was getting ready for his sixth one, but he was 65 years old. He had done his

first one to celebrate his 60th birthday and had done it

every year since. And he has done some since. So over half a dozen now. And what's so cool about this is the

resolution Marty decided to make when he turned 60 years old. A lot of us think that maybe our

adventure life is winding down at that point. Well, for Marty, it was just getting started.
