Summary

Elise is a runner, author and all-round outdoors lover. In 2016 she became the first woman and youngest person to run self-supported around the coast of the UK – an adventure she was completely unqualified for, as an unexperienced runner whose athletic career consisted of one horrendous marathon dressed as a Crayola crayon. She is the author of best-selling book Coasting, which tells the story of her adventure and aims to show others that you don’t need to be the best at something to achieve something big. You just have to be the one who does it.

Hey folks, welcome to the adventure sports podcast. My name is Mason. Sorry about getting the episode up a little late. We had a lot going on this weekend. First of all, Father's Day. I'm a father of two, if you don't know, and they're little. First Father's Day with two kids, which is awesome. It was my birthday on the 20th. So that was another thing we were celebrating. And also, it's a holiday on the 20th because of June 10th. So a lot of us were celebrating something this weekend.
