He is a professor of management science at the Stanford Engineering School and a researcher

in the field of evidence-based management.

Bob lives two different lives from my perspective, the very serious Stanford professor

and the really cool side persona that he has

developed, side authorship. His first famous book, The No-Asshole Rule, building a civilized

workplace and surviving one that isn't. That was 2007.

But today, in 2017, his follow-up, the asshole survival guide, how to deal with people who treat you like dirt.

What a great excuse to use the word asshole on this podcast for the first time.
