This is episode 83.

Hi, Shana. Hello. Hello. Hello. Tell me how you're doing and how old your toddler is now.

She's 12 months, three weeks. And she's feeling so much better from the flu. So she's all better. Yes, it was not as bad as I thought it would be because the doctor was

like, I'm sorry, you just have to write it out. And she recovered and miraculously, none of us in the

family ended up getting it. So I, yeah, I'm really happy about that. Also, you all got your flu shots,

right? Yes. Mm-hmm. There you go. So there you go. And speaking of having a toddler, her walking is getting just better and better. And now I can take her to the park and playground and it's way more fun. I think I was complaining a few weeks ago, like, just like outside time is so weird because like so dirty and she's crawling and blah, blah, blah.

And so now we go and she like, you know, runs around and kind of climb up the steps to the structure and do slide.

And it's just really fun.

And man, this age is fun.

I know I'm always like, I love this age the best, but this age is really so awesome.

You know, it's funny because I'm having the same problem you were, it's so weird. It's almost like I'm exactly a month behind you in development.

Imagine that. Going to the park is a pain in the ass because like a lot of them have sand, a lot of them have little like wood chip mulch stuff. And it's like he gets down, you know, all he wants to do is roam. He wants to go and expend energy, but I can't let him really crawl around on that stuff. We'll go into the grass and then he'll get like completely, you know, muddy and gross and I just let him do him do it but yeah I'm really looking forward to when he can be on his feet and I don't have to constantly worry but plus he puts everything in his mouth so when he's that close to the ground it's just like I can't even get there fast enough so oh yeah it's so gross and I don't know if you've noticed this yet But parks, playgrounds are always full of freaking band-aids used. Ew, no. Band-aids. I don't know. Well, I do know what it is. It's kids with boo-boos running around and the band-aids come off. And it's just like, there's just the grossest stuff scattered around playground no. Scattered around playgrounds and parks.

So, yeah, she's kind of moved out of everything in the mouth phase and can walk and even kind of starting to run a little bit.

Like, she's just on the move.

So super duper fun.
