And we've got to talk about Fears decommitting from Illinois

as well as some other things going out. We're getting some glimpses into the off season

and I think we can officially call it that now with the roster basically set for the 2024-25 season.

So we'll talk about what we are intrigued by in that little video that Illinois selectively put

out there. So things we can glean from that, things that were not taking away from that.

We'll also talk about the NBA Summer Week because there's a handful of Illinois taking part in that.

But Derek, good to see you again. I'm back from vacation. I was happy to get away with the family

and I can report. We had a great time and we came home unsunburnt, which is a major win, especially for me. My kids tan up really well, just like their mother. I do not. I get red and I came back not so red. So I'm happy about that, Derek. A little bit of load management there. I know we did the pod in the middle of the vacation, so that might have saved you. Yeah, don't look too reds. That's good, certainly.

Did you have any issues at the airport like I did where my Jeff Gordon car was carrying contraband?

We actually got stopped for our kids' bags. Our kids' bags. My son had like this weighted, uh weighted like stuffy penguin and they had to like

open him up go through it and and all of that um then we had another bag get checked that had some toys in

it so yeah the kids getting us stopped uh by there but no big issues they're really cool about it

uh at four times it's sketchy man got to look out for him got we got one but no um you. They're really cool about it at four-in-lis. It's a sketchy, man.

Got to look out for him.

Got to look out of them. No, you give my kids a tablet on the plane. They're good at that age, Derek. So you got that to look forward to. I am very much looking forward to that. Yeah, that was not the case this year, but we'll get there. Progressions. But once you have the kids and you see the parents with the young kids in the airplane, you have so much more sympathy for them when they're getting out there because you know what they're going through. And you know for the most part, they're the most part, I will say. They have no control over it because when they're one, two, three, you got no control over that. You just got to hope and pray they act their best. Yep. You're just reacting to what they do. And, yeah, I mean, it's a lot of parents out there trying their best, some that maybe could do a little bit better. But, yeah, I always look around and I'm fearful of like, oh, what are they going to think? They're going to get annoyed. My son kicking the person's seat in front of us, but, you know, you fight them as much as you can and hope that the people around and give you some grace. That's right. Just give them a little bit of grace. If they're kicking their seat and they continue to kick their seat and you don't tell them anything, then there's a problem. But no, we try our best there. But good to be back and we actually do get a little bit of a slow time here. I know the July evaluation period is coming up here,

but it is a good time, I think, for the players to get their workouts. And we're seeing Kyle and

Boswell post how much he's changed his body here in two months with Adam Fletcher. But Derek,
