of O'Ina News that I can remember. And it all happened within a couple hours here. Five-star

podcast soon to discuss that. Terrence Shannon found not guilty of a charge of rape and a charge of aggravated sexual

battery in a Kansas court.

And then about an hour later, Zachary Franklin has committed to the University of Illinois,

the active leader in career receiving yards in the NCAA right now is the 60-year wide receiver is going to reunite with Barry Loney here. Joey, have you caught your breath yet, man. That's a lot. It was a lot. There was a little bit of media availability this morning and this afternoon. So it's been a full day, but full days are better than, better than not in the summer. Yeah, so we want to hit on Terrence Shannon Jr. I'm going to try and get somebody that was in that courtroom to discuss these things. Joey and I are not lawyers. We are not crime reporters, court reporters, but we've been following the coverage. I think there's been some people that have done really well. Mitch on Twitter, I know everyone is following. I've really followed the coverage at Lawrence Times. They have done a really good job, and most of what I have read has been from that.

But Terrence Shannon found not guilty, which ends the criminal case for Terrence Shannon two weeks before the NBA draft.

But most importantly, Joey, this is a free man who has been professing his innocence

for as long as, you know, this has been out there since December. And now he has found not

guilty by a jury of 12 Kansas citizens in Lawrence, Kansas, in Douglas County. And it was a three-day

trial and it's a high-profile trial, obviously, but it only had a 90-minute jury deliberation before they found him not guilty.

And I know WCA Brett Barron's from their affiliate down there in Lawrence.

They had reaction of that.

You see Terrence in the courtroom.

And I can't imagine how his family is feeling right now at this moment after everything

that they have been through. But just my thoughts, like I'm not going to have a lot of takes.

Like that has not been the way we have covered this. This has been a serious accusation that need

to go through the legal process. But both Shannon and his accuser had their days in court.

And a 12-person jury decided on this.

And they found him not guilty.

And I am not surprised by that because there was no physical evidence here.
