Saga and Marshall here welcome back to the realignment.

I think it's time for people in the Republican Party and the conservative movement to stop

making excuses. I just get so tired of the excuses. It's always somebody else's fault.

Oh, it's the media that doesn't give us a fair shake. Oh, it's the lefties who don't give us

a fair shake. Newsflash, the left is never going to give you a fair shake. The media is never

going to give you a fair shake. So if you're waiting for the moment in which we reach Valhalla and

the media gives you a fair shake, just stop paying attention to politics now. Just give up. Okay,

that's just never going to happen.

This week we have a very exciting guest for all of you that is Ovid Roy. Marshall is going to dig

into his background a little bit, but just a preface before we even get to that. This show,

when we talk about politics is about coalitions, right? We're looking at left politics. We're looking

at left populism versus center left. We're looking at right politics, right populist versus the

establishment. Well, our next guest actually has a more interesting theory, which is that the real

alliance that is going to be the future of American politics is the center right and the center

left. Now look, you know, you listen to some of the stuff I was saying back in January,

I would be like, yeah, you're out of your mind. But look, Joe Biden just won 80 million votes with

largely that exact program and appeal to suburban voters. So maybe it's not the craziest thing in the

world. Ovid leads the foundation for research on equal opportunity. And he's also been a serious

policy leader in Republican presidential campaigns during the last decade. After the election,

though, he put on a conference called agenda 2025, the basic idea of being articulating the

principles and the policies have actually undergird this left center right center coalition that

he thinks could be the future and could put forward the free enterprise and inclusion ideas.
