Summary
Originally aired February 17, 2020.
When a crippling amount of debt kept the Strawbridge family from going on family vacations, they quickly began looking for cheap ways to still enjoy an experience together. That necessity led them to camping and hiking. After realizing that this type of “vacation” was more rewarding than a tradition trip, they decided to go all in for an experience of a lifetime to celebrate getting back on track financially.
That led to the idea of thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail as a family.
