Y'all make sure to show some love and celebrating Auntie Shan for her birthday. And let's go ahead and dive into the topic. You know, I had brought this topic up because I feel like there's a lot going on in the world. Yeah. And we all just trying to make it. We all just trying to make it. And we could all use a little help along the way. So today we're going to talk about all of our auntie hacks, our auntie life hacks, whether it's fashion or just lifestyle or productivity, whatever it is. I feel like we can all learn from each other. And while we are giving our hacks, if you agree with it, please respond in the episode. If you're live chatting, go ahead and let us know. Even if you're watching it after let us know which hacks are resonating with you. And also what hacks do you have? Because I'm trying to learn a little something myself. Okay, I'm trying to make it the best way I know how. So if you have something that you could share both with us and with your fellow nieces and aunties, maybe aunts and nephews too, please drop down in the comments as you are watching this episode and share them. Auntie Sham, are you ready? I'm ready, I'm ready, ready, ready. I feel like I know when we initially talked about life hacks, you were like, I don't have any, but I feel like you really, really do. You just probably don't think of them as a hacker, you don't know that they are. So one of them that I know I learned from you is that if I don't wanna put on like a full face of makeup, but I still wanna look a little lifted, put a little concealer under that eye and blend, they'll be blend. I did not do that until I met you. I would either put on a full face or don't anything at all. And that really helped, it just helps to kind of lift you without having to do all the extra work. A little ski skirt. A concealer. That's all you need just to wake yourself up. That's it, that's all. And I have found that if you wanna know the placement, what I like to do, I got my glasses on right now. Okay. What I like to do is place the concealer for sure right here, but I make sure when I blend, I'm blending up so it brings my eye up a bit. It just wakes it up. I'll still I'll put it right here and here. Now, if you want to, you can do a concealer that is your skin tone, just to give you some even skin or what have you, or you can do it slightly lighter than your shade, just to really wake you up. But when you do that, you have to make sure you really blend it or else you're gonna be looking like you only have one concealer that's too light for you. Okay, when I first started doing it, I definitely just used my regular makeup concealer when I do a full face, way too bright, way too bright, tone that down, bring that down a little bit. Stem her down. It's just one step brighter, blend, blend, blend for those who were listening who weren't able to see her motion she did. she definitely does the outer corner of her eye and then she also put some in the inner corner as well. So as as we were getting ready, as we were getting ready, like we were getting ready together preparing for this episode while I was doing my makeup, I believe the Holy Spirit started to just like minister to me about life hacks, right? Or, and what he just brought to my remembrance and just illuminated to me is a life hack is having people around you who have your best interests at heart and releasing those who make you feel less than. Having great friendships and relationships are a life hack. A friend of mine is in real estate, right? And I'm always going to put my girls on, right? And I ended up referring so much to her. She's like, thank you so much, sis. And I'm just thinking in my head, why wouldn't it be you? Why wouldn't I put you on?

6:27.6

Why wouldn't I bring you up?

6:29.2

Even with you, like my sister was talking about how she has, she's put my niece in tutoring. And I was about to say, well, you know, you need a tutor, but then you have a live one on. So you're not tutoring right now, but I know you probably made space for my little A and girl.

6:43.4

But anyway, I was just, I'm always thinking

6:46.8

I when people begin to say things and I feel like I'm a tool. I'm a resource for a lot of people. I hate you know such a so and I just so happy to have like this network of people that I do know that I could put on. So it just pays to have great people around you who want to put your name out there. So having good relationships is a great life hack. For sure. And leaning into that having friends who do different things. Mm-hmm. One thing that came up to me as you were talking is not being afraid to ask or not automatically thinking that somebody doesn't have anything to offer you just as a brand-up example. I was I'm looking for a photographer for the wedding and I was always talking to someone about it that person doesn't live in the city that I'm looking for so I didn't mention it when they asked me You know how planning was going and what I needed But then I ended up as I'm going through. I'm just like, I ended up saying it like, yes, still looking for a photographer. And they were actually able to connect me with someone who does live in that city that they know. Now in my front mind, I'm thinking, well, they don't, I mean, they don't live in that city. So I don't need to tell them about what it is that I need, not knowing that they had a connection in that city by way of someone else.

8:06.5

So while you're still making those connections for yourself, also just not being afraid or canceling people out or or or or underestimating your connections and making sure that you voice what it is that you need because you never know who know who who's connected to who can get you a deal, who, you know, you just, you never know.
