daylight. Today, we're going to talk about why a memory hole is often unnecessary. Why so many

Republicans just choose to believe things that are patently false, and we'll go right on believing those things,

regardless of how much evidence you pile up in front of them.

If you have spent any time at all on social media,

you have noticed how Republicans talk about the patently false nonsense they believe.

They brag about it.

Yes, they do.

In simple declarative sentences.

Now, here's an example from a conservative on Twitter named Joey.

Joey IDs himself as a podcast host, political commentator on various mediums and a conservative populist working in political fundraising.

Joey has half a million followers and Drift Glass says he looks like a refugee from the

venerable Hot Chicks with Dushbags website.

A little callback for my wife.

I haven't looked at him.

No.

But I used to be a big fan of the Hot Chicks with Dushbags website.

All right.

Here's what Joey said.

...
