If you can kind of be gentle in how you approach the conflict, I mean, we're going to be different, each of us, and how we respond to conflict.

We talk to, you want to fight, I want to flight.

You know, you want to use it.

I want to hide from it.

But if we can see each other's motivations, really underneath both of our responses, under yours is, you know, you want to poke at it and you want to know more,

because you want to be in relationship. And I want you to leave it the heck alone because I want to be in relationship.
