I've been thinking about this topic for a while,

but it really hit home with me when a buddy

purchased a beautiful property in southwestern Wisconsin a few years ago.

That land and what it offers is pretty dreamy, but his take on it was a lot different than mine.

And it got me thinking about what do you really need in any given area and how that's sort of the key to figuring this stuff out,

really no matter where you live. Now I'm going to get into that in a second, but first, if you like these
