Okay, we begin today with more media heroism. So over the past 48 hours, really over the past week, we've seen an enormous amount of journalisming. I mean, true journalisming.

So we saw The Daily Beast go after a rando who posted a video of Nancy Pelosi slurring her words

because it was deeply important for us to find out that he was an African-American Trump supporter

who had an itinerant work history and had a criminal conviction.

Very, very important.

And then today, he had BuzzFeed go after a guy for the

grand crime of properly handling a racist. According to Ash Scow writing over the Daily Wire,

a man working the front desk at a Holiday Inn Express in Austin, Texas, became an internet hero on

Monday due to the way he calmly responded to a woman who had called him an effing N-word earlier on

the phone. The man filmed himself telling the woman he wouldn't let her stay at the hotel and that it's above me now. The woman apologizes for the slur she used. She said she had a bad day. A family member had recently died. The hotel clerk didn't give in. He said it was hurtful for him to hear what she said and directed her to the best Western hotel next door. The guy happens to be both black and gay.

He quickly became a meme on Sunday night and into Monday.
