Good Friday afternoon. Welcome into the Yelan Inquirer podcast. It's Jeremy Warner. And joining me today is Mike Lutuip, because we're going to get people ready for a big weekend of

transfer official visits as Illinois as so far that we know three big transfers coming in for

official business over the next several days but they also have added a commitment tray white out

of Louisville and of course they're going for a j store and some other guys as well. So Mike, we're in the middle of all of this. So if people want the up to date, like what's happening, the buzz, Derek Piper's got that covered on the site. We're going to talk about the fits. We're going to talk about the roster that Brad Underwood is building. And boy, Mike, in the next several weeks, it'll all come to fruition.

So it's exciting.

It is.

And we get these separate waves, right?

You get the first portal wave around the start of the NCAA tournament because some teams have their seasons that are over.

And then it picks up, you know, after kind of each weekend and and now we're where we are

the week following the national championship and now visits can start happening and it's felt

quiet just in terms of commitments but now you start to see more crystal balls and and those visits

typically lead to to commitment.

So it should be should be an exciting next few weeks.

Yeah, that dead period lifted today. So now all the official visits happening.

And it's kind of kind of reminds you the prep recruiting with the official visits with

football, especially how there's such a rush to get, get them on campus.

So for Illinois to get three guys in the next

several days, I think it's a really good sign because it means you're probably one of the priority

schools. Before we dive in all this, Mike, I got to ask you about a final four that you attended,

as well as Kentucky has a new coach, and Mark Pope and John Calapari is the Arkansas coach.
