Welcome to a special episode all about St Francis of Assisi.

This week we launched our new St Francis of Assisi plush style,

along with St. Teresa Lesie.

St Francis is holding the fluffiest little lamb you ever saw,

and we wanted to share the story behind the inspiration for the stall.

St Francis is known all around the world as the patron saint of animals.

In fact, you may have taken your pet to a St. Francis' pet blessing.

While it turns out that St Francis had a pet himself, a little lamb. St. Francis of a sacy, whose feast

is celebrated on October 4th, lived during the 12th and 13th centuries. St Francis gave up his inheritance to live a life of material poverty.

He had a very strong devotion to the Eucharist, and so many people were impressed by his

devotion to Christ and his way of life that he founded four

religious orders. The Men's Orders of Friars Minor, the Women's Order of St. Clair,

the Third Order of St. Francis for lay people people and the custody of the Holy Land.

St Francis heard God ask him to rebuild his church and his dedication to living a life
