The French government has shut down nearly 100 mosques across their country.

In this video we're going to take a look at those closures, we're going to see how they're all part of a massive nationalist wave that's sweeping France, and stick with me the very end of this video when I'll reveal a brand new candidate for the French presidency,

Let's dive right in here. It's just been announced that the French government has shut down yet another major mosque in this case in the town of Bové about 60 miles north of Paris.

France's interior minister announced on Tuesday that he's begun the process of closing down the mosque after it was discovered that there were a number of sermons that were preached there that were considered radical teachings,

particularly sermons promoting what the interior minister called anti-Christian and anti-Jewish hatred as well as homophobia.

Under French law, mosque officials have 10 days to appeal the decision, but if what has happened of light to a number of other mosques throughout France is normative here that appeal will fall on deaf ears.

As it turns out back in June at this year, the French parliament passed a sweeping law that strengthened government oversight of mosques throughout France, a law that has the full support of French President Manuel Macron,

which he believed it was absolutely essential given the wave of terrorist attacks that have plagued France of light.

If you're not familiar, just a little bit of backstory here.

Last year, a knife-wielding attacker beheaded a woman and killed two other people at a church in the French city of Nice.

And the attacker was apprehended by police, and he was report, of course, to been yelling al-Aluaq bar.

And that triple murder came on the heels of the beheading of schoolteacher Samuel Pady, who was killed by an 18-year-old Muslim student who took issue with Pady,

showing derogatory cartoon pictures of the Prophet Muhammad as part of his lessons on the French value of free speech.

Needless to say, the killing of Samuel Pady shot the nation, the French were absolutely outraged over the killing,

and they absolutely demanded that the Macron government crack down against Muslim individuals and groups that have thus far failed to assimilate into French society and embrace French values.
