welcome to the show you guys good great great guest today let's go back to 1992. You're in London. You hear about a new band called Bush.

They're out playing the clubs. They're demoing. And by 1994, they sign a record deal and drop a

smasher debut record called 16 stone and the rest is history.

20 million records worldwide. Actually, it's 24 million now because it just got updated. That is

astronomical.

It's up there with the appetite for destruction

as far as the monumental impact it had on a band,

starting, you know, demoing in London,

and then, you know, getting a record deal and then playing the clubs touring.

All of a sudden you're playing small theaters, then you're playing half arenas,

and then full arenas all in a one album cycle.

Very, very rare.

But the thing is loaded, loaded with hits.

It is unbelievable how many hits songs Gavin Rosdale has wrote.

He's my guest today, and we are here celebrating 30 years of 16th Stone. That is mind-boggling. 30 years. 30 years ago,

this record dropped and they're doing an amazing vinyl release, different colors, and you can

pre-order them now. Pretty damn cool. Anyway, it was great to talk to him.
