after pretty much a year's absence, Bob Murphy, the economist Robert P. Murphy.

In a minute we'll get to why he's been absent for so long, but I'm glad to have him back.

Bob holds a PhD in economics from New York University. He's very widely published. He's a super genius. He's the author of many books.

He's the author of study guides to major Austrian economic treatises like Man Economy and State by Rothbard and Mises Human Action and the Theory of Money and Credit.

His own books include two books in the Politically Incorrect Guide series, Politically Incorrect Guide to Capitalism and the theory of money and credit. His own books include two books in the politically incorrect guide series,

Politically Incorrect Guide to Capitalism and the Politically Incorrect Guide to the Great Depression and the New Deal.

He's also the author, most recently, of Choice, Cooperation, Enterprise, and Human Action,

which is like a layman's distillation of Meese's great classic human action.

And he's also the author of a textbook for, let's say, late middle schoolers to early high schoolers called Lessons for the Young Economist.
