All right gang, let's dive right in here as I'm sure many of you have already heard by now actor and supposed musician, Jessie Smollett was indeed convicted on five counts of staging a hate hoax in Chicago nearly three years ago.

Those five counts each and tail maximum sentence of three years in prison or total 15 years.

Now, if you're not familiar with the specifics on January 29, 2019, again, almost three years ago, Smollett alleged that he was physically attacked by two white men in downtown Chicago near the lower entrance of a Lowe's hotel.

So I've claimed that the two men beat him with one putting a rope tied in the shape of the news around his neck while the other poured bleach on him yelling racist and homophobic slurs.

And one of the attackers shouted that this is MAGA country, right? It makes you wonder downtown Chicago is MAGA country. That's why they keep voting for politicians like Lori Lightfoot, but regardless.

So the assault was reported and investigates a racial and homophobic hate crime and immediate jumped all over it as if evidence of how racist the country had become since Trump was elected.

Now, the day after the incident police released surveillance images that did in fact show two silhouetted individuals walking down the same sidewalk where the attack occurred and that they were wanted for questioning.
