I want to read a few chapters, a few segments, a few sections from his work that I really like.

The first one, make lists, a list. L-I-S-T. He quotes one Mary Roach to start the chapter off.

I make lists to keep my anxiety level down. If I write down 15 things to be done, I lose that

vague, nagging sense that there are an overwhelming number of things to be done,

all of which are on the brink of being forgotten.

Well, isn't that true, right?

If you don't write stuff down, you cannot remember it.

And if you don't believe that is true, well, you already forgot all the good stuff that you never wrote down.

Yeah, that's how it works.
