I was hoping you would help set some parameters and define what is sinless perfection because

I have a feeling that a lot of people listen to this may have, they may hear and resonate.

I know somebody that's like that that speaks that way, but they may not have a definition

of sinless perfection.

Could you help define it for us?

Well, there are really two kind of angles that people take when they hold to sinless

perfectionism.

Is that basically once you're saved, if you're really saved, then you, in a sense, become

completely sanctified and therefore you will never sin.

And so there is that view.

The other is that basically you can get to a place where you grow so much in sanctification

that from that point on, you won't sin.

And I think, Mark, you touched on the importance of understanding kind of the nature of things,

but I think a big problem is that those that hold to sinless perfectionism, not only

don't understand what scripture says, but the scriptures say, but they don't understand

the true nature of sin itself, right?

They have this skewed perspective on what they would think is sin, these big things.

They're not thinking about the motives, the intentions, the thoughts.

If anyone truly tuned into that, they could never say that they're perfect or could be perfect.
