Summary

On August 17, 2002, Justin Barber told police that he and his wife, April Barber, had been walking hand-in-hand along the beach when a man approached them with a gun. He was shot four times and survived, but April died from a single gunshot wound to the head.    After a nearly two year investigation, Justin was arrested and charged with April's murder. At about 11 o'clock at night on August 17, 2002, a man I'll refer to as Jim was driving

down Ponta Vigilayx Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida.

As he was approaching his stoplight, another car pulled up alongside him, and he could tell

that the occupant inside was trying to get his attention.

Jim assumed the other driver was going to tell him that his back tail light was out, but
