Well, it's been a quiet week this week. Goldies show closed on Tuesday and she was great.

Silla recently started a job as an acting coach, so she's out of the house most of the day on Mondays.

So I've kind of made Mondays the day I do a crock-pot meal, so whenever people come home, they have something hot and homemade.

This last week I tried to recipe for chicken and dumplings. It was outrageously good. I modified it quite a bit.

My mom used to make dumplings using the Biscuit recipe. So basically there's basic, bread-y biscuit dough that cooks on top of the stew.

And you get a scoop of the biscuits with your stew when you go to scoop out your stuff. It's great.

When I went to Hungary, I discovered Galushka, much like German Spätzla. It's like the shape of crunchy Cheetos but noodles.

But for this recipe, I decided to make the stew in the crock-pot and then cook the biscuits separately.

Then, whenever someone wanted chicken and dumplings, they could have some stew and break up a biscuit into the stew.

Well, ah! That way the dumplings aren't a soggy doughy goo and it heats up really, really well.
