I know November is Wikipedia Asian month, which means that's kind of why Sesame Street

debuted its new Korean Asian American puppet puppet on Sesame Street.

Her name is Ji Young.

So congratulations to Sesame Street, it's the first Asian American puppet puppet on Sesame

Street.

Who knew?

I mean, I certainly didn't, and that's great that there is one.

I don't care, that's great.

I mean, she's a Korean American has two passions rocking out on her electric guitar and

skate boarding.

The TV program first aired 52 years ago this month.

So congratulations to Ji Young and her puppeteer, Kathleen Kim, who ironically enough is a

Korean American.

Huh, amazing that they would do that on Sesame Street.

So anyway, Ji Young gave an interview with Ernie as they were announcing what a great

pair and what a great puppet muppet she was going to be on Sesame Street.

And she talked about her name, Ji Young.

Actually, there's something really cool about my name.

So in Korean, traditionally, the two syllables that each means something different.

And she means like a smart or wise and young means like brave or courageous or strong,
