Today on the online inquire podcast, Michael Toob joins us to give his thoughts on Illinois splitting its two games last week at home.

Michigan State win, but a Maryland loss. What is he concerned about offensively, and for him, more importantly maybe,

defensively about the line eyes they had into a stretch that includes a road game at a Michigan

team that stopped its losing skid and beat Ohio State, a team that's

pretty talented at their place, and then included Doug McDaniel playing there.

So Doug McDaniel not playing his games on the road because of an academic suspension,

but he will play at home.

So the Illinois have a challenge with the talented sophomore guard from Michigan there, especially

after getting crushed really by Jamir Young, who had 28 points and eight assists against the

Illinois the other night.

We also get into the rest of the Big Ten and where Illinois without Terrence Shannon stacks up

in the Big Ten.

We now have four games of a sample size without Terrence

Shannon on this team in the Big Ten and Illinois has gone two and two in those games with

losses at home to Maryland on the road to Purdue and a huge win over Northwestern and a very

close win over Michigan State. So where does Michael Toop still see this team?
