Every week we'll talk all things books and reading and do a little literary matchmaking with one

guest. Today I'm delighted to welcome friend and fellow podcaster Jamie Ivy to the show,

who you may know from her show The Happy Hour. Jamie shares a lament I can certainly relate to,

and many of you will as well. She doesn't get to read as much as she would like.

That's especially interesting because unlike many of our guests, Jamie isn't a lifelong reader.

She hasn't always claimed the bibliophile label, although she's more than made up for her

less bookish beginnings in the past few years. In this episode, we do a little dreaming about

taking a week at the beach just to tackle our to read stack. We also explore how Jamie chooses

things by their covers, whether it's a book or a bottle of wine or a new brand of salsa.

I share a hot tip for reading in the bath, and I might accidentally get a little bossy about
