Hello everyone and welcome to the film cast.

I am David Chen here today with DaVindra Hardware DaVindra.

How's it going today man?

It's going okay, at least I'm not on a precarious bridge right now indeed I'm on solid ground

and I'm grateful for that.

So say we all well we thought we'd do something a little bit different for this holiday

weekends episode of the film cast.

We're going to re-air a conversation that we had about nine years ago episode 270 of

the film cast which was a review of Sorcerer with filmmaker Vincenzo Natali.

So what we're going to do is DaVindra and I will just talk very briefly up front.

We're going to play the review which is our conversation with Vincenzo Natali and then

we are going to talk afterwards reflect back on the review talk about like what we thought

about it maybe talk about our approach how that might have changed us on and so forth.

DaVindra Hardware 2014, a pretty decent year for movies right I don't know if you recall

during this episode we're not going to play the like early part of the episode we're

just going to play the Sorcerer part but we were talking about hey some stuff that's

coming down the pike is the Justice League movie you know that Zack Snyder's Justice League

was not a thing that had happened yet of course yeah vaguely excited about that you know

the sad circumstances under which that would unfold and I also think the Star Wars was going

to have the Force Awakens had not yet been released right and so that was a couple years later

yeah that's right that's right yeah so it was this was in 2014 but Force Awakens would not

come out until 2015 and so you know at that moment in time we still thought hey the revenge of
