Migrants in the Middle East are trying to violently force their way across the border of Poland into Europe, but Poland's army isn't having any of it.

All right, let's dive right in here, gang. Thousands of migrants have flocked to the border of Poland that it shares with the nation of Belarus and they've been violently trying to force their way into Europe via Poland.

The migrants are wanting to get into Western Europe, so as to take advantage of the social welfare benefits offered by nations like Germany.

And the European Union is accusing the Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko of aiding illegal border crossings in retaliation for EU sanctions against them, which of course Lukashenko denies he's doing.

The sanctions are in response to the elections of Belarus back in the summer 2020, which many believe involved rampant corruption.

And so both the European Union and the United States, yes, I give you not the United States impose sanctions on Lukashenko's government.
