0:13.2	All right, welcome to the Righteous Remnant Podcast. This week we're going to follow up
0:16.4	on the Israel situation, what's happening, what has happened, you know, since October 7th.
0:22.7	It's been, you know, about three weeks, something like that, since the attack first happened.
0:28.4	And there's been a lot of, you know, ramifications since then. So I kind of want to do an update.
0:33.8	Before I jump into the Israel situation, I do want to comment quickly on what's going on with Mike
0:39.6	Bickle. For those of you who have not heard, there have been credible allegations against Mike Bickle,
0:47.9	concerning sexual morality, some have even said sexual abuse and spiritual abuse.
0:54.2	And the reason why it's a big deal is because these are like several former leaders at IHOP have
1:01.8	essentially said that they believe that this has happened. And so, you know, a lot of people
1:06.8	are talking about it. I'm just going to comment briefly because first of all, we don't know what's
1:11.7	happened. They haven't released details or anything. So we don't really know what's happened. I just
1:17.1	want to make two quick points. Okay. I think the first thing is this. I really think one of the
1:24.7	things that the Lord wants to do is correct the church from idolizing leaders. Okay. I don't think
1:31.9	it's healthy that we idolize leaders because all leaders have strengths and weaknesses. This is
1:37.8	really important. All leaders have strengths and weaknesses. And the way the church is structured
1:42.4	right now is that leaders tend to be doing something like 90 percent of the ministry.
1:48.5	Right. If you go to any given church service on a Sunday, what you have is you have a handful
1:53.9	of leaders doing the vast majority of ministry. And most of the people in the church are receiving
2:00.6	and watching. Okay. And then, you know, what we do is we try and get some people involved in
2:06.5	helping out in very minor ways like ushering or, you know, doing the bulletins. I don't know.
