Today's guests are drummer Donald Tardy and his brother, lead vocalist John Tardy, of the Tampa

Florida death metal band Obituary.

It was cool to catch up with the brothers. A ton of laughs were had.

Together they took me through the writing, recording and release of the Obituary Classic,

Slowly We Rott, taken from their 1989 album of the same name.

I learned how legendary death metal producer Scott Burns went from operating the studio

gear as a second engineer to winding up in the producer's chair for the sessions of the album,
