Summary

That's where we are right now. That's how critical the problem is. It's worse today than it was during the 80s and early 90s. It's setting records. And ravaging families, communities, schools, and cities all over the country.

First, I need us all to accept that it's a complex problem. And that no simple solutions exist. Anybody saying otherwise is either misinformed or lying.

But we've addressed and solved hard problems for generations. This one should be no different.
