Today we're going to launch a compelling two-part series on the seven churches of Revelation.

These churches were real congregations led by real pastors, each of them receiving a personal message from Jesus.

And their spiritual strengths and weaknesses, they still reflect on the condition of many churches today.

What are these seven? What are the seven candlesticks and the seven stars? What actions did Jesus commend? And what issues did he take,

that he confront, actually? And what message did Jesus, what does it mean for all of us at this moment?

Well, we're going to dive into the Revelation chapter 2 and 3 on this edition of the

End time show. Good afternoon, everybody. I'm Dave Robbins with End Time Ministries. I do thank you for

joining me on this edition of The End Time Show. And you know, recently I've had a lot of people asking me about the seven churches.

What about the Church of Philadelphia? And what about the Church of Smyrna and everything they went through?

And these are these church ages and how do they apply to us today? And why are they in the Bible?

So I wanted to kind of go through. I'm going to do a

two-part series here on the seven churches. So in order to understand, to really understand the book

of Revelation, we need to know that it is recorded in three sections. And they're defined for us in Revelation chapter 1 verse 19

and John said write the things where John was told to write the things which thou has seen

the things which are and that the things which will be here after so the things that John

had seen a vision that's recorded in chapter 1.

The things that are presently during John's time, 2,000 years ago, are recorded in chapters 2 and 3,

and then the things which will be here after, or that starts the prophetic portion of the book of Revelation,

that starts in chapter 4, verse 1, and goes all the way through chapter 22.

The second section, the things which are, are messages to seven churches of Asia Minor,

which has existed at that particular time.
