Summary

Illini Inquirer basketball analyst Mike LaTulip joins Illini Inquirer's Jeremy Werner to preview a critical road stretch of three tough tests for Illinois basketball: at Rutgers, vs. FAU in the Jimmy V Classic and at Tennessee. LaTulip breaks down what he wants to see out of the Illini, how Coleman Hawkins' return could impact the team and what we'll learn about the team. He also breaks down what he's seen out of the rest of the Big Ten, including whether Purdue is the national title favorite.

They did beat Pitt this past week, so they are capable.

1:41.1

And we know kind of throughout the records in that game Missouri's kind of owned it in

1:45.2

the Brad Underwood era so we got a really important month for Illinois basketball where they need to

1:51.2

win some games here if they want to be considered a big 10 contender but they also need to win some games
