Mour Good evening. Welcome in to the online inquire podcast, live post-game podcast edition.

And wow, wow is all I have to say. I've seen a lot of Illinois losses that make

you scratch your head. But that one was one of the ones that takes the cake is Illinois fumbles

its way to a loss that keeps them from a bowl bid, losing 45 to 43 to Northwestern, which finishes the year 7 and 5, 5 and 4 under David Braun.

Now, I didn't think it was a great game for David Braun, to be honest with you, but a huge game

for Casey Washington.

Some good things in there for Illinois's offense, but boy, I'm counting up all the mistakes

Illinois made in this one, Joy Wagner, and this is why they're not heading to a bowl game.

Too many of these where Illinois had the turnovers.

They had the penalties.

They had the shots in the foot that cost them multiple wins this season.

And that's why they're not playing in the postseason.

And they've taken a step back in the Brett Bielma tenure in year three after an eight

and five season last year.

It's a really disappointing end to a really disappointing season.

Yeah, the fact that we're going to start with the miss cues and we still have the entire

defense to cover, like that's what this was, right?

This was this was a miss on a lot of different fronts.
