Of course, those are all vague and oblique references to the fact that today the podcast

we're going to be reviewing Evil Dead Rise.

Jeff Kanada could not be here for the podcast today.

He is traveling and so he's not here for scheduling reasons, but we are really excited to have

writer Max Every join us to cover Evil Dead Rise later on in the review.

Obviously in the last few weeks we've been doing a rewatch or in my case a first time watch

of all the Evil Dead movies leading up to today's episode.

It's been a lot of fun.

Been really grateful to have all that context heading into this movie Evil Dead Rise, which

is doing pretty well at the box office this weekend.

So probably going to be more Evil Dead's in the future.

We will see.
